California poppies have long been one of my favorite flowers. Bright orange petals contrasted with florescent green leaves are a welcome sign of spring. After a year of fires and mudslides, its good to see some new life in the footprint of destruction. This image was drawn for the nursery of some California friends expecting a new life in their home soon!
