This bandana was designed to aid in relief efforts for the CZU Lightning Complex Fire.

100% of proceeds will be donated to Community Foundation Santa Cruz County's Fire Response Fund. "The fund addresses the relief and long-term recovery needs throughout the San Lorenzo Valley and North Coast. Grants support nonprofits responding to victims and programs that aid in the rebuilding and recovery process." Learn more at https://www.cfscc.org/donate/fire.

I grew up in Ben Lomond, in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, and this area is near and dear to my heart. It has been devastating to watch from afar as whole communities have been displaced.

The design is a representation of the coast line, showing the impossibly curvy roads of HWY 1, HWY 9, HWY 17, Empire Grade, Bonny Doon Rd, and Big Basin Way. It's bordered by the California Coastal Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens), Tan Oak leaves and acorns, monarch butterflies, manzanita leaves, amanita and bolete mushrooms, and flowering California poppies and azaleas - just a few of the things that remind me of my hometown.

This bandana is 22"x22", natural color, 100% cotton, printed with dark brown water based ink in San Diego, CA.

It was designed by me, in Albuquerque, NM. Color may vary from what you see on screen, and because they're cotton, they do shrink a bit, and get softer with every wash!
