This original image by Hanna Hedstrom is drawn in the traditional style using pencil and ink, then edited and colored using Adobe’s products.
This image was inspired by the many varieties of mushrooms you may find while tromping around the backcountry of Yosemite National Park. I love searching for these after a summer rain, and seeing them pop up through the soil: sometimes camouflaged amongst dead leaves, sometime so bright and contrasting that they are impossible to miss!
