This original image by Hanna Hedstrom is drawn in the traditional style using pencil and ink, then edited and colored using Adobe’s products.
A coloring page version of this poster was originally commissioned by the Yosemite Climbing Stewards to use as a teaching tool for visitors curious about big wall climbing. A portaledge is used on multi-day climbs as a place to sleep while on the wall. I've never climbed a big wall myself, but I love the idea of waking up, drinking coffee, and watching the sunrise from a hanging shelter suspended thousands of feet in the air!
