This original image by Hanna Hedstrom is drawn in the traditional style using pencil and ink, then edited and colored using Adobe’s products.

Living in New Mexico’s high desert, I’m constantly inspired by the succulents and cacti that are native here. This is a New Mexico century plant, named for the long stalk that grows from the center only once in its lifetime (or, only once a century, hence the name, but it’s actually usually about 20-30 years).

These matte, museum-quality posters are printed in the U.S.A. on durable, archival paper.
